Open crown #152 crown block

A faithful reproduction of the classic '52' from our own vintage block.

Open crowns are specifically shaped for hand-forming shapes such as Fedoras and Western crowns. 

Predominantly used by Hatters but also for Milliners who cross-discipline.

If you intend to use leather sweatbands, please order 1/2" larger than your head circumference.

Please be sure to measure your head, not a hat, as hat sizing is often incorrect.

The Pouncing base option allows your block to be mounted to a pouncing machine. You do not need this option if you don't intend to purchase a pouncing machine/ go into high volume production.

Available in Regular, long or wide oval.

If you are a beginner and do not know which oval to choose, we recommend that you start with 'Regular' ovals, the hat oval can be changed with a head plate in a different oval, if need be.
