DELIVERY TIMES

Usually the production time is around 3-4 weeks for your hat block to be made, sometimes it may be sooner. You will be informed at time of order confirmation what the current time frame will be. At peak times of the year, such as before a racing season or after trade shows, the wait time may increase to 5 -12 weeks. It is wise to get in early.

International customers need to be aware that there is an added 6-10 business days shipping involved and need to be prepared well in advance for their deadlines.

If you wish to have your parcels shipped either via Australia Post express shipping or Courier, please contact us and we can arrange a quote once the blocks have been made and packed. Weights and sizes vary so we cannot quote in advance, except for some small items.

If you have a special urgency, please let us know as we will do our best to make sure that if you have a deadline for a client of yours, that you do not miss it because of waiting for your block.


EXCLUSIVITY

You may request exclusivity for a block that you have designed yourself or in conjunction with us. It cannot be had for a non original design or a copy of another block or hat you have seen. It cannot be had for a design if you have not requested such. For more information about exclusivity, please read this article. We recommend that you discuss this with us in more depth if this interests you.


COPYRIGHT

Except where otherwise noted, all text, illustrations, hat block designs and photographs on this website are the copyright property of Hat Blocks Australia and Blocks By Design. As such they may not be reproduced, in whole or in substantial part, by anyone without written permission.

This means you are not free to ask other block makers to copy these designs, nor copy them yourself, either for personal use or to sell them.

PRICING

Base prices on the website are in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. All Australian prices include 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax).

GST is not charged on international sales, and prices converted to other currencies automatically deduct the GST. Postage charges DO NOT cover your own country's import duties and taxes. If you are concerned about these please check with your local postal or customs authorities. Please DO NOT ask Hat blocks Australia to mislead by lowering the value of your goods or marking as a gift.

PAYMENTS FOR CUSTOM ORDERS

Preferred payment method is Credit/Debit card processed through the PayPal Invoice System* OR using your PayPal account.

Other payment methods such as credit card over the phone can be arranged.

*NOTE: You do not need to have a PayPal account to use your credit card. For detailed information about paying by credit card/PayPal, click here.

1. Place an order using our contact form

2. Your order will be confirmed after any needed discussion by email.

3. You will be sent an Invoice from PayPal.

4. Simply use your credit card or PayPal account to make payment. OR Direct transfer to our bank account as on the invoice (Australian customers only).

Payment upon receipt of the confirmation invoice guarantees your orders place in the queue, and its progress.
Orders that remain unpaid may stall or be overtaken by other orders, and thus be delayed.
We do require full payment before carving your blocks.
